President Loki is the third Hot Toys Loki in my collection and my 27th Hot Toys figure. This version of Loki is of course from the first Season of the Loki series on Disney+, which gave us several Loki Variants from across the pruned MCU Multiverse including this fun President Variant, which was based on the Vote Loki 2016 comic book series.
We meet this Loki Variant in the Void, and we don’t get to spend very much time with him, but he stands out because he’s portrayed (like our 616-Universe Loki) by Tom Hiddleston and has a really fun interaction with Alligator Loki, who bites his hand off. That sequence was the most laugh-out-loud moment from Loki: Season One for me and appropriately, the Hot Toys President Loki does come with an accompanying Alligator Loki figure that I adore just as much as the primary figure itself.
President Loki looks really great out of the box. His small horned crown and “Vote Loki” button and tattered clothing really stand out and he comes with a pair of daggers.
His big smile expression is perfect, and the figure has a surprising amount of presence for what was a sort of throwaway character. After watching Loki: Season One, I pinpointed a few Loki Variants that I hoped to add to my collection, and this was one of them, and it did not disappoint.
I received this President Loki figure from my family for Christmas at the end of 2023.
